After exercising, there are some things that cannot be done, otherwise it will compromise the exercise. Wang Yu, a doctor from the Sports science and Health School of the Capital Institute of Physical Education, told the Life Times that it is important to cultivate a healthy "post sports" awareness.
Don't stop and rest immediately. If you stop to rest immediately after exercise, a large amount of venous blood in the limbs will accumulate, causing heart ischemia, and the brain will also experience symptoms such as dizziness, nausea, vomiting, and shock due to insufficient blood supply. So it's best to start with some low calorie activities after exercise, such as gradually changing to jogging or jogging after a long run.
Don't indulge in cold drinks. Exercise can make the population dry and tongue dry. If one craves a large amount of cold drinks to cool down and quench thirst for a while, it can easily cause gastrointestinal spasms, abdominal pain, diarrhea, and trigger gastrointestinal diseases. Drinking mineral water or Sports drink is an ideal choice.
Don't eat immediately. After exercise, the blood in the digestive organs is relatively low. If you eat immediately, it will increase the burden on the digestive organs, cause functional disorders, and in severe cases, even cause various diseases. After 20-30 minutes of exercise, digestion and absorption functions gradually recover.
Do not smoke. Smoking after exercise can mix a large amount of smoke into the air in the lungs, reduce oxygen content, and make it difficult to eliminate body fatigue. It can also lead to symptoms such as chest tightness, asthma, and difficulty breathing due to insufficient oxygen supply.
Do not drop your body temperature suddenly. During exercise, body temperature increases, pores dilate, and sweating increases. If you get cold after exercise, it may lead to Vasoconstriction, decreased immune function, cold, diarrhea, asthma and other diseases.
Don't drink alcohol to relieve fatigue. After vigorous exercise, the body is in a state of excitement, and drinking alcohol at this time will make it enter the bloodstream faster, causing greater harm to organs such as the liver and stomach than usual. Long term exposure to this can lead to diseases such as fatty liver, cirrhosis, and dementia. Especially drinking beer after exercise can increase uric acid in the blood, leading to gout. ▲ (Reporter Gao Jiayue)©Copyright Hefei Zhongke Broshare Technology Co.,Ltd
